Baseball Rules
Over the years one thing that really hasn't changed is baseball rules. For the most part they have been pretty constant. Minor things have been changed over the years to make the game a lot better. Let's look at some of these baseball rules that have changed our game for the better and than some that didn't exactly do what it was suppose to do. One of the biggest baseball rules changes had to be the designated hitter added to the American league. this baseball run made it possible so the pitcher would not have to bat and you could put a better batter in their for your team. Though the National League has never adopted this rule and still have the pitcher hit in the game. One of my favorite baseball rules is where they have inter-league play. This is where National league teams do battle against American League teams. This is very important for various reasons. One thing is fans get to see different teams from different leagues that they would normally never get to see play.

It also brings new rivalries to the forefront that you would normally never see which is another great thing for the fans. Teams from the same state that are in different leagues can play each other and the fans can enjoy the games like never before. Many people love these new games and that is something they haven't had for a very long time. Most baseball rules though aren't as drastic as these so that's a really good thing. Baseball rules are added each year and some are so small you never really hear about them at all. A lot of times baseball rules are look at by the commissioner of baseball, but nothing is ever done with them. The main reason for that is you need the owners to vote on them. Many owners don't like change so they never get past the talking stages. Baseball rules for the most part stay the same year after year. A little tweaking is done sometimes dependent on if the rules have had some issues before.
As you can see baseball rules have been the same for many years so if new rules are introduced they usually have a big bearing on the game one way or another. Baseball rules are really just an extension of the game we love.
