Milwaukee Brewers
The Milwaukee Brewers are a Major League Baseball team and as such they belong to the National League, Central Division. The Milwaukee Brewers baseball team is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the Miller Park stadium. In the history of the Milwaukee Brewers they also belonged to the American League. Since their creation as an expansion club in 1969 to 1997 they belonged to the American League.
The team was originally known as the Seattle Pilots. A Major league expansion was given to Seattle, but because of Stadium issues and financial trouble they team was sold again and moved to Milwaukee. The Milwaukee Brewers are also known under several nicknames such as “The Brew Crew”, “The True Blue Brew Crew”, “The Crew” and even “The Beermakers”. Logos on Milwaukee Brewers uniforms and Milwaukee Brewers hats differ from each other. The uniform logo shows the script word Brewers superimposed over a baseball and this inside a circle with the Word “Milwaukee” above and a pair of crossed barley stalks below. The Milwaukee Brewers hat logo is stylized letter “M” with a barley stalk underneath.

In 1982 Milwaukee Brewers baseball finally reached heights never been seen before, they won the AL championship series, but lost the World Series shortly after. The loss of the World Series was the end of the Milwaukee Brewers Glory days. Still rebuilding the team never won a World Series titles and therefore is one of the only five teams in Major League baseball history to not have won a World Series yet. To celebrate the team and promote Klement’s sausages a sausage race was included after the bottom of the sixth inning since 1995. Originally 5 sausages raced on the scoreboard mostly to appease kids. Now there are 5 sausage mascots doing a race on the field after the bottom of the sixth inning.
After moving into their new stadium Miller Park it was reported that Milwaukee Brewers economic impact was 327 million dollars on the counties surrounding the stadium.
The Milwaukee Brewers spring training takes place in the Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix, Arizona.
