Toronto Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays are a Major League Baseball team and belong to the American League Eastern Division. Since the Toronto Blue Jays are a Canadian team they are the only non-American team in the American League. They are also the only and first Major League Baseball team from outside of the United States to win a World Series Title.
Originally there were two Canadian Major League baseball teams, but after the relocation of the Montreal Expos in 2004 to become the Washington Nationals in Washington, D.C. the Toronto Blue Jays were the only remaining Canadian Major league baseball team.
The history of the Toronto Blue Jays is fairly short. The Toronto Blue Jays were established in 1976 as a Major League Baseball expansion together with the Seattle Mariners. In 1989 the Toronto Blue Jays finally started a successful period of baseball together with the opening of the newly build retractable roof stadium, SkyDome. In those years following the opening of their new home stadium Toronto became the first Major League club to draw over 4 million fans in one season. The Toronto Blue Jays logo changed severla times over the course of their existence. The new Toronto Blue Jays logo depicts a Blue Jays head coming out of the letter J or on uniforms out of the letters “Jays”. The uniform colors of the Toronto Blue Jays are white, blue, gray and black. The Mascot of the often also calles Jays is Ace, a blue jay.

The Toronto Blue Jays 1992 World Series is the first of two World Series that the Blue Jays won in their so far short baseball career. In the 1992 World Series the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Atlanta braves and in their second World Series in 1993 they beat the Philadelphia Phillies.
